In my series of acrylic paintings, GEFORMTE SCHÖNHEIT (Shaped Beauty), I explore the fascinating dynamics of the tides, which shape and transform seascapes daily. Created by the gravitational pull of the moon and sun, these natural rhythms are an endless dance of ebb and flow that keeps the coastlines and the water itself in constant motion. Through abstract forms, I capture these changes and invite viewers to experience the beauty and power of nature.

The gentle waves lapping against the beach and the powerful currents pulling the water into the depths are expressed in vibrant colours and dynamic forms. My palette ranges from deep blues and greens, which symbolise the ocean's depth, to light sand and white tones that reflect the sun's light. Each image is a snapshot of this constant change, an attempt to capture the fleeting beauty of the tides. In my work, the power of the tides symbolises change and renewal, reminding us that we are also part of this eternal cycle.
