Biography
Klaus Biliczky is a versatile visual artist. He was born in Dinkelsbühl, Germany's most beautiful old town (Focus) and lives and works in Neuendettelsau, Bavaria.
he worked as a graphic designer and manager in the packaging industry and, before turning to creating art full time, trained with renowned teachers in painting and printing techniques. he explores our reality of consciousness and existence with sensitive perception, sounding out the relationships between fantasy and reality and also critically incorporating social changes. His thematic focus is on the beauty and vulnerability of our world, as well as the transience of our being. He focuses primarily on acrylic techniques, oxidative painting on canvas and sculptural objects. His artistic range extends from experimental, process-based works with a formative conceptual approach.
Depending on the series of works, his paintings can be experienced haptically, show cracks, elevations and depressions as a testimony to the working process they have gone through, or present themselves with smooth surfaces that make the traces of the working process almost unrecognizable.
Works by Klaus Biliczky can be seen in national and international exhibitions and have received several awards and publications.
